I love telling important stories about how humans get around, so I do it professionally as the Deputy Editor of InsideEVs. There, I’m covering one of the most tumultuous and important moments in the automotive industry, at the crux of the electric vehicle revolution, the software-defined vehicle transition, and the ongoing American affordability crisis.

Previously, I worked as the Reviews Editor at Road & Track, reporting on cars and car culture around the world. There, I got to do a deep dive into Korea’s underground car scene and explain Honda’s rush to catch up on electric vehicles. That’s in addition to more traditional automotive stories, like adventure stories, on-track reviews, and technical explainers. You can find all of my Road & Track web stories here, and find my print stories gathering dust in garage corners the world over.

But one of my favorite gigs was running the automotive reviews section of CNBC. I started that weekly column at the tail-end of a four-month college internship with the company, and continued writing luxury car reviews and managing automaker relationships for my last two years of school.

During that time, I began freelancing for a variety of the country’s largest automotive publications. I handled first-drive reviews for Motor1, international auto shows for AutoTrader, behind-the-scenes technical stories for Road & Track, and a motorsports explainer for Autoweek’s final Under 30 issue. I also interned at and became the Weekend Editor of Jalopnik. There, I wrote about everything from diplomatic immunity to my road trip to cope with my brother’s suicide.

If you want to talk, I’m always open to new opportunities that involve telling stories about cars, technology, or culture. Feel free to contact me below:
